چکیده

Background: Bone defect healing is a multidimensional procedure with an overlapping timeline that involves the regeneration of bone tissue. Due to bone's ability regenerate, vast majority abnormalities can be restored intuitively under right physiological conditions. The goal this study examine immunohistochemistry sialoprotein in order determine effect local application on rat tibia generated defect. Materials and Methods: In experiment, 48 albino male rats weighing 300-400 grams aged 6-8 months will employed controlled temperature, drinking, food consumption settings. animals subjected surgical medial side tibiae bone, repaired absorbable hemostatic material control group (12 rats). experimental rats) treated administration 30 μl fixed by sponge. After surgery, slaughtered at 7, 14, 28 days (four for each period). Results: Immunohistochemical analysis stromal cells reveal substantial difference between group. Conclusion: concludes could successful therapeutic treatment injuries; these findings are encouraging future clinical use.

Bone sialoprotein.

The search for a protein nucleator of hydroxyapatite crystal formation has been a focus for the isolation and characterization of the major non-collagenous proteins in bone. Of the proteins characterized to date, bone sialoprotein (BSP) has emerged as the only bona fide candidate for nucleation. BSP is a highly glycosylated and sulphated phosphoprotein that is found almost exclusively in minera...

Human Bone Sialoprotein

A cDNA encoding the human bone sialoprotein was isolated from a X Zap expression library (made from cultured human bone cell poly(A)+ RNA) using radiolabeled rat bone sialoprotein cDNA (Oldberg, A., and Heinegard, D. (1988) J. Biol. Chem. 263, 1943019432) as a probe. A 5’ 1-kilobase EcoRI fragment of the purified 3-kilobase clone was sequenced and found to contain the entire protein-encoding re...

Melatonin regulates human bone sialoprotein gene transcription.

Melatonin is produced by the pineal gland and regulates various physiological processes including osteoblast differentiation and bone formation. Bone sialoprotein (BSP) is a mineralized connective tissue-specific protein expressed in the early stage of cementum and bone mineralization. To elucidate the effects of melatonin on human BSP gene expression, we utilized human Saos2 osteoblast-like ce...

Regulation of bone sialoprotein mRNA by steroid hormones

In this report we demonstrate an increase in the steady-state level of bone sialoprotein (BSP) mRNA in rat calvaria and a rat osteosarcoma cell line (ROS 17/2.8) after treatment with the synthetic glucocorticoid, dexamethasone. In contrast, 1.25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 reduced the amount of BSP mRNA in calvaria and inhibited the dexamethasone induction in ROS 17/2.8 cells. The increase in BSP mRNA ...

Calcium and collagen binding properties of osteopontin, bone sialoprotein, and bone acidic glycoprotein-75 from bone.

Calcium binding properties of bone acidic glycoprotein-75, osteopontin, and bone sialoprotein were determined in 10 mM imidazole buffer (pH 6.8), containing either 60 mM KCl or 150 mM NaCl. Proteins assayed were first bound to nitrocellulose to mimic substrate-bound forms in vivo; retention of phosphoproteins was determined through use of radioiodinated tracers. Binding studies were carried out...
